Carolyn M. Lawson
Carolyn M. Lawson is an associate with Poliquin & DeGrave LLP. She has extensive experience in civil litigation, successfully representing and defending clients during all phases of litigated matters. Prior to joining Poliquin & DeGrave, Ms. Lawson primarily defended large corporations in personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, employment, and real estate matters.
Ms. Lawson graduated from Westmont College where she majored in Political Science. She obtained her J.D. from the Chapman University, Fowler School of Law, where she was a three year recipient of a Dean’s Merit-Based Scholarship and received a CALI Award in International Business Litigation. Throughout college and law school, Ms. Lawson worked with adults suffering from traumatic brain injuries, assisting with physical, cognitive, and occupational therapy. While in law school, Ms. Lawson was also a judicial extern for The Honorable Erithe A. Smith, United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California.
Ms. Lawson became a member of the State Bar of California in 2013 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and St. Thomas More Society of Orange County. Ms. Lawson joined Poliquin & DeGrave in 2016.
