Marwan Sanoufi

Marwan Sanoufi joined Poliquin & DeGrave LLP as an associate attorney in April of 2021. His practice primarily focuses on defending physicians, dentists, and attorneys against claims of negligence and wrongful conduct.

Mr. Sanoufi was born in Homs, Syria and raised in Doha, Qatar. After receiving a bilingual International Baccalaureate Diploma in 2009 in both English and Arabic, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance and Marketing double major) in 2013 from York University in Toronto, Canada.

Before attending law school, Mr. Sanoufi gained valuable business experience working for Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO), one of the largest producers of low-density polyethylene in the world, and subsequently worked with manufacturers that were based in France and the United Arab Emirates.

Mr. Sanoufi attended California Western School of Law in San Diego and was a recipient of a merit-based scholarship and Dean’s list awards. He received his Juris Doctor in 2020 with a concentration in business law. While in law school, he served as the Treasurer of the Business Law Society and worked as a volunteer Arabic interpreter at various Legal Aid clinics. He also interned at the San Diego County Tax Collector’s office and completed an externship program with the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation. His other legal experience throughout law school included bankruptcy, personal injury, business, and real estate litigation.
